We seek a world where every child is aware of the civic processes, and can cast a ballot to have policymakers reflect their needs. A world that looks to the future to craft their own destiny. A world of peace, built on the collaboration of those who are young, and those who are seasoned.
Since the creation of the Centre, we have committed ourselves to bringing this vision to fruition in numerous ways. Yet we recognise these ideals may not be fulfilled this decade, nor century, or perhaps millenia.
Yet we must try. As we encourage each person to cast their vote, we must set the foundations today to create a possibility for bringing our vision to light.
We are proud to champion the fight for civic engagement, but certainly hope we will not be the last. The effort the Centre takes is one which will span years, but it is necessary to begin engaging youth today to ensure the possibility of a better tomorrow.
